Laboratory setup for studying adaptive processing of aquatic environments

The laboratory setup is designed to study the complex effects of controlled hydrodynamic processes, low-intensity electromagnetic fields, and low-frequency resonant oscillations on various types of aquatic environments.
The setup enables reproducible experiments with the ability to change processing parameters, record results, and subsequently accumulate experimental data.
Platform architecture
1. Flow preparation subsystem
Includes:
- input of test water;
- flow rate measurement;
- control of feed conditions.
Its purpose is to ensure reproducible experimental conditions.
2. Subsystem for generating physical impacts
This is the central part of the installation.
It includes:
- an electromagnetic system;
- low-frequency oscillation generation;
- a vortex reaction chamber.
3. Реактор селективного воздействия (вихревая камера)
In the selective action zone (vortex chamber), the combined action of several resonant mechanisms arising from the interaction of a vortex flow, an electromagnetic field, and low-frequency oscillations is being investigated.
It is hypothesized that their combination can enhance physical processes that influence the behavior of individual components of the aquatic environment. The specific mechanisms and conditions under which these effects occur are the subject of experimental research.
4. Flow separation system
At the outlet of the vortex chamber, the treated products enter the separation module.
From there:
- treated water is discharged;
- the concentrated dissolved substances are removed;
- insoluble deposits are removed.
5. Control system
All actuators are connected by a common control system.
It provides:
- regulation of exposure parameters;
- receipt of information from sensors;
- recording of experimental parameters;
- synchronization of the installation's operation.
6. Data recording system
During each experiment, the following are recorded:
- source water parameters;
- treatment mode;
- sensor readings;
- treatment duration;
- post-treatment laboratory analysis results.
All data is stored in the project database and used in subsequent studies.

Unlike specialized installations designed to perform a single technological operation, the AQUA VORTEX platform is being developed as a research system. Its primary purpose is to conduct reproducible experiments, study the effects of various complex physical impact modes on aquatic environments, and accumulate experimental data necessary for further technology improvement.
